SURFACES TO BE APPLIED ON:
Specifically developed for use in Turk Siding and Hekim board products produced with FIBERCEMENT technology. In addition to these, it adheres well to mineral surfaces such as plaster, concrete, gypsum board, as well as wood and metal surfaces.

 

SURFACE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION:
On mineral surfaces; the surface to be applied must be smooth, solid, and dry, free from dirt and grease. Previously painted surfaces must be brought to a solid state capable of carrying paint. Well-conditioned previously painted surfaces should be sanded with fine sandpaper for good adhesion of the paint. Before application on highly absorbent mineral surfaces and fiber cement technology products, 1 coat of SILAST FC-2 SILICONE PRIMER must be used. Application is done in 2 coats with a brush or roller. A minimum of 6 hours should be waited between coats. The surface and ambient temperature should be above +5°C during application.

 

DRYING TIME:
Varies according to ambient temperature and relative humidity.
Completes in 1-2 hours at 23±2°C and 55±5% relative humidity.

0.100-0.110 kg/m² (double coat) 0.080-0.090 Lt/m² (double coat)

 

COVERAGE AREA:
9-10 m²/kg (double coat) 11-13 m²/Lt (double coat)

PACKAGING FORMS:
In 20-10-3.5 P.E buckets.

 

STORAGE CONDITIONS:
Should be stored between 5-35°C in closed packages not exposed to direct sunlight. Must be kept closed when not in use. Must be protected from freezing.

 

HAZARD WARNINGS:
R22: Harmful if swallowed.

 

SAFETY WARNINGS:
S2: Keep out of reach of children.
S26: Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Clean skin contamination with soap, water, or a known cleansing cream.
S46: If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show the container and label.
